Wuhan April 2009

Wuhan is the principal transport hub of the middle reaches of the Yangtze and the sixth largest economic centre in China. It has attracted large amounts of foreign direct investment in recent years, more so than any other city in central and western China.

Yangtze Business Services is organising a one-day fact-finding mission to the city’s main transport infrastructure sites, including Yangluo International Container Terminal, Wuhan Railway Container Terminal and the airport cargo facility. Delegates will also visit Wuhan ETDZ and tour Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co, and have a working lunch with senior transport and investment officials.

The mission is targeted at shippers and foreign manufacturers that are looking at the option of moving their operations to China’s interior; shipping lines and 3PLs; port developers; and suppliers of equipment for transport infrastructure.
