Chongqing October 2008On behalf of Chongqing Foreign Trade & Economic Relations Commission and Chongqing’s Port Administration Office, we are organising a fact-finding mission to the municipality’s main transport infrastructure sites. Delegates will also visit the Three Gorges Dam shiplocks, a major shipping bottleneck along the Yangtze, and hear about future investment plans from senior local transport and investment officials. They will also be able to gauge Chongqing’s investment environment by visiting FIEs already located in the city.
The visit is targeted at shippers and foreign manufacturers that are looking at the option of moving their operations to China’s interior; shipping lines and 3PLs; port developers; and suppliers of equipment for transport infrastructure.
