Air Canada is to resume twice-daily services to Beijing and Shanghai in June and is planning to fly to Guangzhou in 2013 in response to increasing travel demand between the two countries.
The carrier reduced its Vancouver-to-Beijing/Shanghai service from 14 times a week to seven times a week in July 2008 in a move to cuts costs in response to record fuel prices.
China Daily said the Vancouver-Guangzhou service would make Air Canada the first North American airline to serve the capital of Guangdong province. | |
