Grand Alliance members Hapag-Lloyd, NYK and OOCL are to revive their Central China Express service in May, reported IFW. The services was suspended in December because of falling trade and merged with another service that connects northern Asia with the Pacific south-west.
Five vessels between 5,550 and 6,500 TEU will be deployed on the service, two operated by OOCL and three by NYK.
The service will call at Busan, Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Los Angeles, Oakland and Busan.
