According to Jiangyin Maritime Safety Authorities, shipyards in the city of Jiangyin in Jiangsu province expect to deliver 110 new vessels this year. During the first quarter of 2010, the local MSA issued permits for 15 vessels under construction to be lowered into the Yangtze and another 18 were allowed to undertake trial sailing on the river.
