Germany-based logistics provider Logwin is upgrading and expanding its facilities in Shanghai as demand grows in China for value-added logistics services in the fashion retail sector, reported CargoNews Asia.
The company has moved to a modern 6,000 sq metre container freight station in city’s Lingang district, which is near to the deepwater Yangshan terminal. It has also established a 2,000 sq metre logistics facility in Baoshan in the north of Shanghai.
The Baoshan facility will serve Logwin’s fashion retail clients, with services that include quality checking, price tagging, sorting, labelling, scanning, and pick and pack.
