DB Schenker, the transport and logistics arm of Germany’s Deutsche Bahn, has launched four new weekly less-than-container-load services from Guangzhou in Guangdong province. IFW reported that the company will offer consolidation from Guangzhou to Milan, Italy, Le Havre, Rotterdam and Felixstowe in the UK.
Henry Schmidl, Schenker’s ocean freight director for south China, said it will add extra destinations directly from Xiamen and Guangzhou later this year.
