Travellers on a Nanjing-Shanghai high-speed train experienced a delay of nearly two hours on 17 October, according to Shanghaiist.com. The journey, which was meant to last 75 minutes travelling at a top speed of 350kph, apparently experienced a power problem soon after departing Nanjing.
Shanghai Railway Bureau, which operates the train service that started in July 2010, apologised for the incident, but affected passengers have not been offered compensation, the website reported.
