China Southern Cargo has joined the SkyTeam Cargo alliance, whose other members include Aeromexico Cargo, Air France Cargo, Alitalia Cargo, Czech Airlines Cargo, Delta Cargo, KLM Cargo and Korean Air Cargo.
Cheng Gang, executive VP of China Southern, said the move was part of a strategy to transform it into an international, network-oriented airline.
SkyTeam Cargo members have more than 11,500 daily flights connecting more than 140 countries. It was founded in 2000 and today is the world's leading air cargo alliance. Member airlines’ cargo divisions provide customers with access to a global route network, standardised operational processes and ‘one roof’ warehouse handling services.
