China Central Radio has started a daily traffic report on the channel Beijing FM106.1. Jointly hosted by the station and the Ministry of Transport, the programme will be broadcast twice a day, once for half an hour between 8:30am and 9am and later for an hour between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.

The programme will cover the general status of the national road network, and include weather reports and other factors that may affect driving conditions.
