The first Chinese-owned ethylene chemical carrier has completed its maiden voyage, reported Seatrade. The tanker Peng Shun was purchased by CSC Nanjing Tanker Corporation’s subsidiary Shanghai Changshi Shipping and is managed by its wholly-owned unit Nanjing Yangyang Chemical Transport and Trade.

Li Wanjin, general manager of the company, said ethylene transportation would be a challenging business due to high operational standards and management requirements.
