Construction has begun on a Rmb100bn rail transport industrial park in Chongqing’s Liangjiang New Area. Situated in Yufu Industrial Park, the park will specialise in the manufacture of finished rail vehicles, high-speed trains, electric multiple units (EMUs) and related parts. It is expected to become a key production base for national rail transport equipment.
