Major Chinese ports recorded a container throughput of 108m TEU in the first three quarters of 2010, according to a report by ResearchInChina. It forecasts that the full-year figure will reach 134m TEU, up 9.8% on 2009.
Coastal ports achieved a throughput of 96.89m TEU in the first three quarters of this year, with Shanghai ranking first with 21.6m TEU, followed by Shenzhen and Qingdao.
