Property company Dalian Wanda has acquired a plot in Wuhu, Anhui province for Rmb308m to start its first large mixed-use property project in the city. Wanda Plaza will contain residential and commercial properties that will be built in 19 months.

Over recent weeks other well known Chinese property companies have acquired plots in this Yangtze port city, including China Vanke and Evergrande Real Estate.
