A museum is being built in Chongqing to remember the 1.35m people who were forced to migrate to give way for the construction of the Three Gorges Dam. The Three Gorges Museum, covering an area of 3.35 hectares, will open by the end of this year, local authorities said. Construction is set to be finished by June.
