Twenty-six people were killed when a bus and truck collided on the Xiantao section of the Suizhou-Yueyang expressway in Hubei province, reported Xinhua. Both vehicles crashed through the guardrails of the expressway and caught fire.

Investigators said the coach driver illegally stopped the vehicle on an emergency driveway to let off a passenger, and the truck, driven by a fatigued driver, hit the bus at high speed.
