Hong Kong-based Kerry Logistics has opened a 20,000 sq metre logistics centre in Hefei to service the growing automotive industry sector in Anhui province. Based in the city’s ETDZ, the centre offers a broad range of specialist services including include vendor-managed inventory, sub-assembly and kitting, and JIT delivery.

The centre is 3.5 km from Hefei Luogang International Airport and close to expressways and a railway that connect to nearby cities. It contains five warehouses, of which four are already operational, with the fifth due to be opened by the end of 2011.
