The Hubei branch of the National Development and Reform Commission has approved plans to connect the provincial capital Wuhan to two of China’s cross-national natural gas pipelines.
China Business Newswire reported that the 282km pipeline will link Wuhan to the trunk lines of both China National Petroleum Corp’s Second West-East Gas Pipeline and the Sichuan-Shanghai Gas Pipeline operated by Sinopec. The pipeline will supply Wuhan with 1.8bn cubic metres of natural gas a year once operational, the announcement said. | |
