Wuhan International Expo Centre opened for business on 15 October, hosting the 2011 National Auto Parts Trade Fair.

It is central China’s largest exhibition hall with an area of 118,000 sq metres, and the third largest in the country.

New structures will be added to the centre over the next three years, including a conference hall, Intercontinental and Holiday Inn hotels, an ocean park and a residential area.
