Yangtze Maritime Safety Authorities have issued a special air draught warning as the water level at the Three Gorges Dam rose to near the maximum of 175 metres.
It said that vessels with an air draught lower than 17 metres could safely pass bridges and other buildings in the area and that other vessels should have a contingency plan to avoid possible collision. | |
