PetroChina Southwest Marketing has signed an investment framework agreement to build a non-hazardous chemicals logistics centre in Chongqing Western Logistics Park. A total of six warehouses will be built.

PetroChina is the largest oil and gas producer in China.

Chongqing is one of the fastest-growing regions in the country. In the first 10 months of 2011, the industrial added value of enterprises in the municipality above a certain size totalled Rmb276.97bn, up 23 per cent year-on-year. This growth rate was 8.5 per cent higher than the national average and ranked first nationwide.
