CCCC Second Harbour Engineering has won the bid for phase one of the public terminal in the Niutoushan area of Chizhou Port in Anhui province, reported Dredging Today, as well as the reconstruction and extension of Guodian terminal’s coal storage and distribution centre in Shashi, Hubei province. The contracts have a combined value of Rmb118m.
With a designed annual handling capacity of 1.96m tons, the Niutoushan project involves construction of a bulk export berth, a bulk import berth and a multi-purpose berth.
CCCC Second Harbour Engineering is a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company.
